Casual Chic

Casual Chic
This fun outfit is perfect for a causal day like this one. Since the weather will not permit us to wear flats or sandals yet we have to work with what we got!

Get The Look

Get The Look

This look is completely adorable. I have been eyeing this Street Style photograph on Pinterest for the longest time. I finally decided to put an outfit together inspired by this photograph. This is the perfect spring look for an evening date or an evening with the girls. This very sophisticated but still flirty outfit is perfect for anyone. If you feel uncomfortable with the mini skirt it can easily be swapped out for a longer length. The blazer and casual tee shirt is an easy way to dress the outfit up a bit. In the summer I would even go without the blazer if weather permits me too. In this case (spring), the blazer is much needed since our legs are bare. The skater skirt is really what makes this outfit so perfect and flirty. Any print would do just fine as long as the colors compliment one another. I hope you all love this look as much as I do. Get the look for yourself!

Boho

Today my look was inspired by the Bohemian Chic style. I love Rachel Zoe's style and fashion sense. This look was also inspired by my "Fun with Leather" outfit from yesterday's post. I am wearing a white button up from Forever 21, dark blue Joe's jeans, Jon Joseph loafers and a black studded fedora from Forever 21 as well. My lip is from Elf in Natural Matte. I kept my accessories simple and classic. I absolutely love this look, it was super easy to put together.

   Happy Saturday!

Fun with Leather

Fun with Leather

This outfit is a fun way to dress up the many white button ups sitting in your closet. I know I have a ton in different shapes, textures, styles and forms. This outfit will go fine with just about any white button up you have laying around. A hat is always a fun accessory which is why I styled this white button up with a funky fedora to add some pizazz. The dark blue skinny legs and black loafers were inevitable because they are great complimentary colors with the white as well as the black hat. The leather and gold bracelets and the red lip make this outfit edgy. I would wear this for a typical work day, shopping day or even a night out (just trade in the loafers for black heels). Hope this helps you all with those button up shirts your just dying to wear.

Almost Spring

I'm super excited about this warm front happening in AVA. I'm so tired of the snow and cold! Spring couldn't get here any sooner. Today I wanted to be very comfortable and laid back. I am wearing a jean button up shirt from TJ MAXX, H&M trouser pants from a few years ago and my pointy toe oxford style shoes from Urban Outfitters. An easy affordable outfit for a typical day of school.

Plaid

Plaid

Plaid is definitely a trend that is on the rise for the spring. I have always been one to see plaid as too loud but I am finding that it is very funky and fun. This fun outfit is one of the many ways I would style a plaid trouser or skirt for the spring. The key is to style the plaid pattern with something neutral that will compliment the colors and shapes of the pattern well. Another super adorable trend are the Charlotte Olympia flats that have become very popular over the past year. This outfit idea is definitely one for the books. One of my favorites!
